These terms apply to your use of Word-Search.org (the "site", "we", "us"), including its word search games, the word search maker, printable puzzles and all pages in every language. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The site is free to use and requires no account. Our privacy policy explains what data is collected when you visit and forms part of these terms.

We provide the games, puzzles and word lists as they are, and we may change, add or remove levels, themes, puzzles, words or features at any time, including the puzzle shown for a given date. Word lists are chosen to be useful for a game; a word appearing or not appearing in a puzzle is not a statement about its correctness in any dictionary. Statistics and progress are stored only in your browser, and we are not responsible for their loss, for example when browser data is cleared.

You may print puzzles from the site, and copy the printouts, for personal, family, classroom, library and club use, free of charge. Please keep the small word-search.org line on the printed sheet. You may not sell printed or digital copies of our puzzles, or include them in a product or publication that is sold, without our written permission.

The word search maker builds a puzzle from the words you enter and stores it in a link; we do not save or review it. You are responsible for the words you put into a puzzle and for the people you share it with. Do not use the maker to create puzzles that are unlawful, harass or threaten anyone, or include other people's private information. Puzzles you make with your own words are yours to use as you like.

You may play the games, share your results and share links to puzzles and pages as much as you like. You agree not to:

• copy, republish, sell or redistribute the site's code, design, word lists, texts or other content, or build a competing service from them, without our written permission, except for printing as described above;
• scrape the site, download puzzles in bulk or access it with automated tools in a way that puts load on our servers;
• show the site inside a frame or otherwise present it as part of another site;
• interfere with the site's operation, security or advertising, including generating fake ad clicks or impressions;
• use the site or its contact form for anything unlawful, abusive or for sending spam.

Linking to any page of the site is welcome, as long as the link does not suggest that we endorse you or your product.

The site's design, code, text, graphics, word lists and the selection and arrangement of its puzzles belong to Word-Search.org or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Individual words and the general idea of a word search puzzle belong to no one. Names and logos of other games and services mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. Word-Search.org is an independent site and is not affiliated with any other publisher of word search puzzles.

The site shows advertising provided by third parties and links to other websites, including our other games and social networks. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party ads, websites or services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, or that the information on it is complete or up to date.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Word-Search.org and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, streaks or statistics, arising from your use of the site or your inability to use it. Because the site is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the maximum extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
